Hey Corey! How you doing? I've had a look at your website recently and love it. I really do. Is it custom made? I love the template and graphics. You also have nice shots in it.

Bookmarked! :)

Thanks David. It is a wordpress website and the theme is from elegant themes. A few years ago I tried designing a website from scratch. Much to labour intensive! Then I found Joomla. Used it for a while but the themes were never really what I wanted. Then I found wordpress and while by no means is is designed for large galleries and pictures it is very flexible and the coding is very good. The themes are also a bit more seamless than the ones for joomla. Very easy to setup and use. Still in the process of developing the site though as it takes a while to get everything done.

Appreciate the feedback on it!

If you have any questions about it pm me and I'd be more than happy to give you some tips on getting started.

Did my first real shooting with the 60D today. Was focused on still life images for a local photo club contest.

The articulating screen was great for working with the camera on a tripod so I didn't have to bend down to look at composition. It took a little time to get use to the camera, but shooting with it was starting to feel more natural by the end of the shoot. There was one thing that I noticed that was a bit of a pain. For some reason it would stop firing the external flash if I waited a long time between taking shots. I noticed this when using live view. Turning the camera off and back on would get it to fire the external flash again.

Used the 60D to shoot a video today, riding my human-powered trike. Just a titch on the bumpy side. Going up Main St. Daytona Beach Bike Week 2011.

Hardocre, thanks for the quick tip, I'll have a look at wordpress. You'll surely get a PM from me soon ;)

Mephitblue, I like that first shot.

Advaitin, stop it with your nice weather! But nice video and that's a whole lot of bike

Oh and I here a preview of my today's session. It was my first time working with three lights, I really liked it. I still have a whole lot to learn! Let me know what you think :D

The photo of the radishes looks great! I love the colors, and the lighting seems perfect.

MephitBlue - excellent creativity!

David: Well done (liking what looks like a wind effect going, too)

Cory: Thanks!

Everyone else - great shots!

You can really tell the difference between 1080p @ 24fps vs 720p @ 60fps. Here's a little video I put together. It was supposed to be a lame "How To" video, but it ended out TOO lame and this is all that came out of it. Lyrics to the song kinda work too :P

Very sexual. Fruit will do that. Sometimes it's good...sometimes it's not. I'm just not sure about the three cracks. Couldn't you have spun one or two of them to hide the said....cracks?

Well it's been one week since I received my 60D. I went to the Natural History Museum and got a chance finally ( weathers been crappy) to take my camera out of my house. CC is welcomed as I want to know what I am doing wrong. I didn't take alot in manual bc I was at a museum and kinda felt rushed out of view of stuff. But oh well lol
