David, How are you feeling? Has everything passed now?

Doing better now, all red patches are gone. They still come up after a shower (hot water) or if I itch myself but apart from that they are gone. But my health is back to normal apart from that.

Oh and PP done, upload in progress ;)

The autofocus points are not identical to the light metering mode. Per page 119 of the Canon 60D manual there are four metering modes. The "Spot mode" come closest with it covering a bit more than the center focus point.

The focus point(s) and the metering mode are selected independently. For example, you can set the camera to use only the leftmost (9 o'clock) focus point and yet use the "Spot" mode for light metering which is centered around the center autofocus point.

But I can not set it to meter on the focus point I have chosen it seems. (Unless it's the center one itself I suppose) Am I right?

Another thing....what would you people recommend for taking street shots of people:

1. Evaluative metering
2. Partial metering
3. Spot metering
4. Center-weighted average metering

I know conditions can vary day to day in terms of light. I know that different people may aim for different creative ways of lighting their street shots in the day...but of the above 4 metering options, which would you choose to give you (here's a loaded word I guess) 'good' exposure results?

thanks
