so i got my 60D refurb from canon today i love how it feels in your hand! it feels more solid than the 5dmk2 and no battery door squeak like the 5d and older cameras so even tho this one is made out of plastic they did a pretty good job at it! and its also light so thats a plus...
now on to the pictures, wow this thing is sharp! def sharper than my friends 7d! i am traveling to italy where i'll put it to the test but so far the first couple of pictures i've taken have impressed me. here's two with my 50 f1.4 straight out of camera.

Once you get three blinks on the charger, your good to go for the rest of today! Welcome to the 60D club. Before you can be a full member, you must post a pic.
Also, we like to have our fun and games in this thread! Hope you bring your sense of humour!!;):D

Ranger - all I can say is, "bring it on!" :)

i believe rules dictate any member who admits to having possession of a 60D must post a pic on that very day. you score bonus points if the pic has a duck in it. ;)

No ducks, this is the best I could do under the circumstances. Sucker wouldn't move from that branch! Wife is on the mac so this is just straight from the camera to your eyes!

Thats ok. I have the proper gear to shoot with. I can see well then. Hell, I am the past champion of action pistol shooting in the state of MO. Even been invited to shoot at the Bihanci Cup.;)

Question for the group - how do you embed or insert an image? I can attach one, but I have to re size and I see some folks just link to their photo sharing accounts. I have a flickr account, but when I cut and paste the image link into the "insert image" dialog box all I get is the dreaded red "X".

What am I doing wrong?!

I have sharing turned on in my flickr account but not sure what else I need to do. Upgrade to Pro??

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

macroshooter1970 You are going to need a boat load of WD40 to get that bad boy to move.

[QUOTE=JAnders;12210108]Question for the group - how do you embed or insert an image?

From your flickr account click on the drop down to the right of the Facebook and Twitter icons. Choose your image size and choose BBCode then copy the link and then just paste it on your reply. Hope that helps :)
