I love this site and thread already.

I just got a few pics taken last night of some random things because I had to return my first 60D because it was DOA. Didn't even turn on. But the camera shop was very cool about it and exchanged it no problem.

Anyway, here is a pic of a flower I took to try it out.

Nice mazda's Celander! I love that road... It would be so cool to take a fast lens and park one car in the street at shoot it at like 200mm @ f/2.8. The effect would be so awesome....

Thanks!

Yes, I was frustrated at first, but the people at the store were both friendly, and quite helpful.

Does anyone have an opinion(s) on the SIGMA 10-20MM 4-5.6 EX DC CANON HSM lens versus the CANON EF-S 10-22MM 3.5-4.5 USM LENS lens for use with my 60D? I am looking for a ultra wide angle zoom lens to use for landscapes and macro shots with my set of 3 Kenko extension tubes. This would complement my CANON EF-S 18-200MM 3.5-5.6 IS & CANON EF 70-300MM F4-5.6 IS USM lenses. TIA.

I will let you know, my sigma should arrive tomorrow !! Cant wait

Hi Guys and Gals,

My name is Dez and I live in Suffolk England ... i'm the proud owner of a Eos 60D (strange that as i'm posting in this thread lol) my main interests are wildlife / landscape/ motoring and my Son Toby

following on from a bitter battle with Camerabox (yep the UK version and if i had joined the forum BEFORE i had ordered the camera i would have been a little wiser ) i recieved my camera 16 (yes i did say 16 days) after i ordered it... im still waiting on a lens from them so who knows when i can expect that

and to add to my lenes i ordered the Sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 APO DG OS from Warehouseexpress and it was in my grubby little mits within 18 hours ...no hassle

so i look forward to learning lots on here and enjoying the banter and seeing your fantastic shots putting mine to shame

here's a squirrel i met last night whilst wandering round the park ... probably the 5th shot with my new lens and the 30th shot with the camera so be gentle

Regards

Dez

Too bad you guys cant fit real rubber under those fenders. And that they weigh a TONNN! But still I love the LSX engines, simple and to the point...

My 540whp 2500lb car on 18 x 12" rear wheels and 18 x 10" fronts. Fenders have been pulled to clear em...

Nice one. Garter Snake correct.
