I was just trying to shot the poles in the water. My lens did not have enough reach to get a good shot on the birds (at that distance I would need something between 400 to 600 mm).
I did some cropping in one of the pictures of the series, maybe it can help you to identify what kind of bird they are (sorry my bird knowledge is very limited). Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures....

Thanks, now I see what they are. No need to apologize for anything.

He said he took the picture because he was trying to shot the poles in the water.

It was a very heavy crop, do you expect it to look super sharp.

Hi murtaza.ismail I only was just making a point no need to apologize. most of us here are learners too.

Try this strange lens;)

Ya, my skin tones look a little red. I think that is a canon thing and it can be reduced by changing the red tint towards yellow in lightroom. I usually add 20 or less as any more I find the skin to turn too yellow. My printer prints with less red than my monitor so even though my monitor is calibrated it could be a problem with my calibration or my printer profiling.

Just pulled the trigger on a 60D. Now it's just a waiting game until it arrives. Can't wait though. I want it NOW :D

I'll try that out and see how it works for me. Thanks for the tip Hardcore.

Thank you! Both of your "nice shot" were my first two comments ever on a photo of mine from fellow shooters and plus it was a good comment.

Thank you monday shift!

The other day I got a strange phone call from a number I didnt recognize. It was the current owner of my wifes old play car. A 400whp Convertible 240sx with a nissan skyline engine in it. He asked me to photograph it for him and offered to pay me to handle the resale of it over the internet. The downside was it was 1pm in the afternoon and he only had an hour for me to take pictures. So they are all just infront of my house.... LOL

He had changed the low profile dual tip exhaust for some ricey thing... but the sound of this motor is unbelievable. Think Single Turbo MKIV Supra and thats what this old beast sounds and goes like...

Anyways he is my wifees old sleeper:

Summer has finally arrived in Seattle! And in a rare bit of perfect timing, I had Friday off (the first day of nice weather) with plans for a small road trip. What a beautiful day for a drive:
