I just read Phottix will have an aftermarket grip later this year :)

Anybody using the OEM grip?

Another one from Sunday - this is one of the first pictures I have tried at an awkward angle, using the screen and live view.

I'm curious...the plastic body still bothers me so until I can hold one, no opinion but I still don't know if it's an upgrade.

Definitely an upgrade for me (as it's my entry into the X0 series)... this coming from a ~5 year old 350D. Feels solid with a much nicer grip. I'm sure that if I had some experience with a magnesium alloy body then I might feel differently, but I am super satisfied with the 60D so far...

I also hope. But I don't think so. The after-market grip for the T2i took a couple of months before arriving :(

Here's a few more I shot with my 60D all using the 70-200mm F4 L (some are also featured in this particular lens gallery in the lens area of this forum)

I haven't done much PP with these, they are pretty much straight out of the camera.. they could probably be better images

Mine is out for delivery!!! My 50 prime is hot on its heels and I just took a deep breath and ordered the 17-55 for my main lens from Calumet with the Canon rebate and their Black Friday discount that still worked. This weekend nobody is going to see much of my face. Just a lot of flashing. ;)

^^ If you don't mind me asking, how much did the body + 17-55 cost you?

I will pm you -- not sure what the rules are about prices yet and don't want to be a violator!
