From what I read I thought you had to lock down the exposure for all the shots. What did you use to stitch it?

If you expose in manual mode, the settings are locked as long as no settings are set to auto. This includes needing to select a white balance different from auto.

I've used cs3, cs5, autopano pro, and Microsoft ice (free) Cs3 and autopano pro are the best, but ms ice is no slouch. Cs5 did not do well at all.

I'm reading my 60D instruction book and came across "Customizing a picture style" . It gives you the option to change the sharpness of the photos. The settings on my camera all have negative numbers for the shapness. Will moving the number to a positive number give my photos more details or make them better (or of course - sharper)?

I think picture styles have been discussed here somewhere.

Anyway, it only applies to the LCD preview you're seeing and to the JPEG file, if you're shooting JPEG. Else, if you're shooting RAW and using Canon's DPP, it will be the default settings when converting your RAWs. If you're using a RAW converter other than Canon's DPP, then it won't apply to the file you're gonna get from the cam.

Hope my effort to explain is clear enough. Hehe! :p
