My wifes 60D kit just came in the mail today wrapped it up and stuck it under our Christmas tree. She has no idea. Hopefully she will enjoy the present.

I like the night Christmas tree shot. What lens is that with? The reason I ask is that I get the same star shape around the lights with my Tamron.

Here is the best shot that I have taken with my lovely 60d and the 17-55mm lens...I also had a cheap flash on a tripod with brolly and wireless triggers...Im pretty pleased with it.

This is Grog, the gorgeous frontwoman of the fantastic Die So Fluid!

thanks

Just for C&C, you need to clean up the edging a bit more to make it look less "Cut & paste"...unless that's the look your going for. I find it easier to clean up the edges by using a bright green layer behind the subject. Otherwise, love the energy of the pic.

Hello everyone, Brandon here. I just exchanged my T1i last night for the 60D & 18-135mm IS lens kit last night. I definitely lucked out because I picked it up for just a little over what I paid for the T1i, 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS lenses. I even got a second Canon battery AND a $100 gift card. Best Buy was not happy with me. So far all I can say is WOW! The feel is amazing after only using the T1i for a couple of weeks, this thing feels, sounds and shoots wonderfully. My wife decided she was just going to take a nap while I play with it and my new 430EX II. I wish it wasn't about 20 degrees outside so I had a little more motivation to get outside and shoot some. I do have a quick question for you guys using this camera on lens preference. It came with the 18-135 lens, as stated but I'm wondering what everyone's general perception is of this lens. I am by no means providing an income with my photos so I can't justify spending an ungodly amount of money on any L glass anywhere in the near future but wondering what everyone is using for a modestly price all around lens or two lens setup and what you like/ prefer about each. It makes my head spin trying to sift through all the lens threads trying to gather this info. I also have the 50mm 1.8 lens.

Momma bear hibernating while a play around with the camera.

And my obligatory mirror self-portrait. I know, I know... ha!

And the reason Mommy bear is so tired (beside me playing with my new toy all the time now) It was taken with the T1i but thought I would share.

Just starting out so I went cheap: large black fabric background and one cheap clip on light with a 55 watt bulb diffused with a white t-shirt b:lol: A little PP in Lightroom 3. I had only had my T1i for a week or so and it was my first DSLR camera so I'm going cheap until I learn more of the basics. An thanks for compliments. :D

Anyone else having problems with the 60D connecting to EOS Utility, or is it just me..? :|
Camera connects to the computer, but doesn't load up in EU. Its the updated version and my 450D works just fine..
