ooooooooo we need to have a PMND set up vs Mic's set up Shoot out

I just copied Peter's setup, then modified it a bit.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Well, at least you could use preparation for the grudge match as an excuse to buy something...

I think you could beat him if you got the new indirect deep octa! :)

I don't think the bracket would hold that particular modifier, somehow...

Speaking of new stuff, my Canon 24mm f/1.4 L II arrived in the mail this week. LOVE that fast glass! :)

Still mulling over ideas to combine the 24L and the Octa for a location shoot... just need to get the rain to stop. Not likely here in the Pacific NW... :(

Yes, but I am fighting them off with logic, as you can see.

You only say that because you're too big to fit through doors.

Ah, well, I'd happily shoot against and lose to Peter then :-)

Yes, Sheldon, you are fast becoming known as the Mic of the Northern Hemisphere. Not to worry, though. Mic's taking a buying breather at the moment. Over the next few months he'll be buying the Gossen Digisky and the 150cm indirect deep octa for sure and probably some other doodads as well. Remember, an Australian Dollar is now worth MORE than a US Dollar. Mic's had a high speed direct telemetry link installed between his house and B&H.

I also wanted to mention the sensational landscape photography found in your Flickr stream. You deserve a 24mm f/1.4L II and will certainly put it to *very* good use.

Dave F.
