Fun times ahead.

Yup. :D

It will also be my first shoot in my new studio space. I was looking for a space I could rent for an afternoon and stumbled across a co-op studio that had an opening at a very reasonable price. 900 sq ft of open space with a 25 foot ceiling and I can use it any time I want.

Life is good.

Congrats! My 39" DO just arrived, too. Assembly wasn't bad.

Oh, and forgot to say... I now have a Kata 3N1-30 bag on the way for carrying the Ranger. Found a good deal on one used, total impulse purchase.

Many thanks to Jeff's fine discovery and Brendan's sample photos!

So, my Kacey package has just left the US. Probably a few days until it arrives in Germany, and then another 8-10 days to India. Such a painful wait. :(

What's on your list so far? Bug 'em about the new ranger heads and possible new pack! :)

I just picked up a set of the BxRI's, one 250 and one 500 watt. They were to supplement my already existing lights. I used them for the first time this past weekend on a wedding and I loved them.

congrats I have the BXRi to :D

My DO arrived today, along with a 36x43 recta and a 10x20 black muslin background.

I've got a TF shoot scheduled for Monday night and cannot wait to try out the new pieces of kit.

Luck!! and hope you have fun

Yeah, they are doing a special thing at a local studio. I'm going to that to check out August Bradley. I LOVE his work...

Wow. That's some intense work. The more you get into photography the more you can appreciate the effort that goes into such shots. Amazing. Can't imagine the amount of time spent on those.
