So my UPS driver doesn't even knock. He drops whatever boxes I get right on my porch and leaves. Guess he must think my pitbull is still around.

Haha. It's hard to believe, but here white marble is the cheap stuff.

Screw sending Eli modifiers send me marble flooring and counter tops! That is just crazy! You are a high roller here if you have your Chimera box on your marble floor. haha

You ain't kidding. I can't believe how large and deep it is. And the handle that comes with it feels like a dumbell.

Now I gotta wait for my wife to get home to figure out how to set it up.

And, Mickey, it takes a man to admit that. :(

You should have ordered three, Mark, to take advantage of the free shipping offer:

I wonder how many people are induced to buy more than one 28" dish just to get free shipping? Not the most appealing or attractive offer.

I took a few more pics. Now if I only knew what the heck I was doing, when I uploaded a pic it wouldn't take so long.

And it's a year since I got Ed's Setti from Hawaii to here (via air) for free. What a genius I am.

Funny you should mention free shipping. I recently discovered a flaw in B&H's online inventory tracking system, which I wrote to Henry about and he acknowledged.

When I went there Father's Day, armed with the list of Robert approved stands (now I know why he said I needed to be concerned about grip), they had like nothing in stock, in spite of the fact their website showed them all in stock. And not only did they show them in stock when I left home, they showed them in stock when I was there.

Problem is, they have no current way of differentiating their Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse stock from their New York store stock inventory. So while they were in stock and ready to be shipped, they were not in store.

That was the second time that has happened to me and I was very disappointed. I get disappointed easily. I'm an instant gratification person. If I go to a store, I gotta walk out with it. While the salesman offered to ship it, he said nothing about free shipping.

When I wrote Henry, he said in that instance all I need do was ask and it's their policy to ship it for free.

I wound up going through the catalogue and found a great stand in stock there however, along with the boom.

Now to the pictures.
