Visited Lake Powell at the beginning of September and did the houseboat thing for 5 days. This image was one of my favorites.

I love Lake Powell, too, and your 3rd photo. I almost did the houseboat rental some years back. My group backed out at the last minute.

You gotta go Stan, a motorhome on skids, you'd be right at home.:lol:
I've spent many days on the lake, both with and without a houseboat, treasured memories for sure. It's also a little scenic, but not much..............

Bluest skies and brightest stars I have ever seen. You also are able to see the Milky Way.

I agree on the MW. Problem is there is a lot of light that comes from Page.
If you time it right, you might even catch a Perseid meteor.
I was up on Alstrom point for this shot, I think it would be a lot better on the Lake itself, it would tend to block out some of the Page lighting.
