First time I've ever seen sunrise (I've been awake for it before, but never watched it), happened to have my camera in the car. Got eaten to bits by mosquitoes, but I would do it again in a heartbeat =)

I think landscape photography is probably my weakest area (so far), so feel free to give even the simplest advise!

Thanks :) glad you like it!

Oh, and I'm aware there's a bit of lens flare but I don't think it's super noticeable (not so bad shooting straight into the sun, good job tamron!)

Very nice. I'm no expert on tuning the exposure for shooting into the sun (morning's aren't my thing really; don't even shoot sunsets much), but looks pretty good to me. Lucky to have the birds there as they raise the interest considerably.

5D and too much glass. Mamiya 645E.

Nice exposure. Sunsets and sunrises are one of the most common things to shoot and seem to attract the novice and the advanced shooter. They can be run of the mill. This is a pretty decent shot though. I'd like to see the birds over in the left portion of sky rather than close to the right edge since everything is going right anyway.

Tony: Thanks =) The birds were a lucky addition; they were actually flying all around in front of me the whole time I was there, sometimes literally directly in front of me.

Ed: Thanks as well, and you're right the top left portion of the image is sort of dead spacey. I'm glad the birds cooperated at all, though next time maybe I'll bring some bread and try and direct 'em ;)
