1d NC-E2 charger not charging batteries help!

Recently my original 1d charger stopped charging my batteries. It can refresh them (which I already did) but it won't charge and the red light doesn't even come on. What should I do? I need my batteries for class on Monday and I have no juice in them. Do I have to replace the batteries or charger or am I doing something wrong? When I bought the 1d the guy said he didnt know how much life was left in the batteries so I'm guessing their done. Its just weird how all three stopped at the same time???

edit* I meant to put NC-E2 instead for the name of the charger obviously.

Any chance it's just that the batteries are too old to take a charge?

If they are original, they could be as much as 9 years old....

I have no insight as to how you can get a new battery or charger in time for your class on Monday... unless you find a local store with them in stock (very possible in NJ) and spend tomorrow driving there.
