infrared filters to LA-DC58D

Is there any type of filter out there that would work w/ the G6's LA-DC58D that would create an inrared effect when taking a black and white picture? I know I can I can do the conversion the Elements, but I wouldn't mind just taking the picture in infrared or black and white in the first place. Any thoughts?
