Omar, it's always a pleasure looking at photos of your significant other. She's a very beautiful lady and I mean that with my deepest respect. (Unlike MDJAK...) The 70-200II is looking to be a killer lens too.

Some comments:
#1: Nice shot. I would clone out the rogue branch on the upper left corner.
#2: Meh...
#3: I just lost my lunch looking at you.
#4: Shame about missing the focus. Serves you right using Canon gear.
#5: Interesting photo. I would fix up the geometry a little or crop out a little of the top portion.
#8: Nice shot.

Why don't you do something challenging for a change. Like, shoot a photo of MDJAK and make him look good. I know, impossible, but heck of a lot more challenging than shooting a nice photo of your GF!

Thanks a lot Nick for the comments and critiques! Always appreciated!

#1I will def clone out that rouge branch.

#3 I can give you a signed copy if you want

#4 I know

#5 Ill crop a bit more tighter up top your right about that portion.

Speaking of MDJAK. How about you run a search on him. You might be surprised what i posted

Thanks! Zero flash used. All ambient lighting. I hate flash (1 i dont own one and two i dont know anything about them ) except when i need to use it for a little bit of fill light when shadows are in peoples faces. I try to always max out as much available light as possible. :D

nice, im very impressed. i asked because im venturing into the strobist world, but i still have a way to go before i master just ambient light let alone a new light source :p
