Just wanted to share some photos from a lifestyle portrait session that was shot yesterday. Any comments or critique is welcome and all the photos were shot using a 1DMKIII and a 5D paired with either an 85L or 35L.

Also the entire set can be viewed here at: www.sojournfoto.com (external link)

Yeah couldn't quite help that. I tried to get her to relax but you could tell she didn't feel completely comfortable, which is ironic because she had been wanting to do this session for months.

Yeah. We pretty much walked through a certain part of Downtown Denver and shot at certain spots that looked good. They're not actually models btw, they were paying clients who wanted a portrait session.

Well some models will still pay if youre lucky:P Ive been to Denver and love it! Stayed 3 weeks in Fort Collins and made a few trips to the area. I need to go back during the summer. We went dead of winter.

Haha Yeah I guess you can say that. Denver is a great town. I moved to SoCal about 3 years ago but I'm back quite often because of work. Ft. Collins is great too but it's definitely nicer in the summer. Personally I recommend the fall when it's not ridiculously hot and not quite cold yet. You'll get some great colors from the trees and it's a nice 70 all day long. Perfect for some shooting!
