I am planning on switching systems to Canon and having debated long and hard over a 7D or 5D MKII I think I am about to purchase a 5D MKII as I mainly shoot Landscapes, architecture, children, flowers and slow moving wildlife. I still have a few Contax lenses left hanging around with my film days and would like to use the 50mm f1.7 and 28mm f2.8 with the 5D MKII. I have achieved great results using these with my Olympus E3 but did not really put them to much use due to the cameras crop factor. Looking around the Internet there appear to have been contradictory reports on using these lenses with a 5D MKII some say they work fine and some that there are issues with the mirror hitting the lens. Does anyone here have experience of using these lenses with a 5D MKII and if so is there any recommendations to adaptors that work?

Thanks

Neil
