I'm not sure what you are looking for comments exactly nor what was the purpose of your shooting? None of them really grabbed my attention. Some of them suffer from focus/DOF (you should be able to read GUCCI clearly for instance). White balance seems off on some and... and what is that lens cap doing there under the marker?

They all appear to have focus problems

IMO, the focus and white balance have to be 100% spot on, and sorry to say there not.:(

Yep, there's a reason they make TS lenses and this would be a good place for one.

The imperfections on the gloss anno of the shocker is really throwing me off, and the lighting caught in the milling is throwing off detail. It would look a lot better if it was sharper and maybe shot at an angle.

thanks
what does dye use to stand their guns up for their NT photo's on the website?

all i had on my table was a lens cap for my cocker, and i ended up having to lean the shocker on the back drop, couldn't really fuss with the lighting much because of that.

I thought the Gucci shoes weren't bad, the OOF was purposeful because it's obvious they're high heels. i was trying to attract your eyes to the toe where the best part of the shoe is and the detail. If you could read the Gucci logo on the sole, it'd be perfect IMO.

The corkscrew and cork was a fail.

My car keys being OOF was purposeful also, ///M enthusiasts would have liked it. Perhaps I posted it in the wrong forum. I don't want to explain my thought process too much but, there's a bunch of 3 series cars only 1 ///M3 so emphasis goes to the ///M. BMW logo is obvious in the background, 3 is obvious in the foreground, and the key isn't that important.

The Iphone and Bose headphones OOF was purposeful also. Because everyone knows what an Iphone is/looks like but there's dozens of different types of headphones. I wanted the Bose headphones to be in focus and draw your attention to them and see in the background that they're attached to an Iphone, which is obvious because it's OOF but you can still tell what it is. Perhaps I should have put that on a Bose forum...

Thanks for the Critique!

I used a homemade lightbox and these were my first "best" pictures with it. Plus, i drank a bottle of yellowtail, hence the cork. I was pretty drunk.

it appears as though dye either A) leans them on something and photoshops it out or B) clamps the barrel, then shoots it and then clamps the body/frame and shoots it again then photoshops the barrel onto the first picture

Lol I always try to make everything much harder than it really is. I was thinking they built a special stand to screw the bottom asa in to hold it. I have to buy some cheap clamps, I see everyone uses them.

Thanks
