(Though that's not a cub is it?) And i desperatly want to take up gliding, but i can't afford that right now "Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere." - Carl Sagan.

It is definately peaceful. Although the clouds were really rolling in so the gliders were only taken up to 5000 feet. cicopo wrote in post #10985923 ![]() The photos certainly back up your title, and it's good to see our youth following such a dream. Thanks for the photos & being a part of their mentoring. Thanks. I have been active on the parent sponsoring side and the executive committee for a few years. As of this year, I have enrolled into the reserves so I can recieve my commissioning as an officer. Steve

It's a great system to teach respect, manners & life skills that can form you in ways you never realized at the time, so good for you. I had the same opporotunity growing up so I feel compelled to help out. The added bonus is both of my sons are in the squadron I work with. FlyingPhotog wrote in post #10986983 ![]() Great Series! And for the Canadian members here, you don't have to join the reserves to help out. You can always be a Civilian Instructor and get most of the same access to the runways as the officers Steve
