Can someone tell me what type of bee (I assume) this is? At first glance I thought is was a common honey bee, but it looks furry'r than normal.

Beautiful colors, nice shot, maybe a tad over sharpened.

LOvely capture- agree with Werner on ID - a leaf cutter bee - you can normally tell these as they have a pollen comb under the abdomen.
