Here she is this morning on the tree, then sitting on the waterdish. Just after the water shot, a Large Grackle Thug jumped up and took her spot on the dish. He spooked her, otherwise I might have gotten more images of her taking a bath. I will post one of that thug later!

She looks really sweet, doesn't she? Love the yellow on her. Pretty shots, Steve.

She's a very pretty bird, Steve. You frequently say you wish you had some of our birds. Let me assure you, we easterners wouldn't mind having some of yours!!

She's looking good Levina, might be the same one that's been around the last few weeks. Growing up already. Thanks Levina.

I never could understand why some birds are all over the U.S. and others are only in the East or West. Seems like since they can fly they would cover the whole country. Thanks Judy!:D

Thanks Bret, yeah the gang of thugs are always hanging around the area, waiting for me to go somewhere, then they take over the yard.

Thanks Stan, I was out at the waterhole today, and only saw a few birds, and none of them would come down to drink. I was under camo, and it was quite warm out. Not sure what was going on. Anyway, sorry you can't make it to the Canyon this time! You were so close.:D

She is a beauty Steve... the pose and light on the first shot is really perfect... the little lady has an unique coloring, a subtle beauty... nice shooting my friend.

This is the first time I've caught her close and in pretty good light. I fired off about 10 shots of her on the tree. She's a sweet shy bird, and I love seeing her in the yard. Thanks db.:D
