I have seen some other shots with seniors and engagements done on or near RR tracks in the St. Louis area. Can anyone give me some specific locations they have been able to shoot?

I am traveling back to St. Louis in a couple weeks to do my nephew's senior pics and that is one of the locations / settings he has asked for. I have tried doing some searches and found other photog's that have shot that scene, but not getting any luck on locations.

I will only be in for 2 days and would really like to complete his shots for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys !!!

It's been a while; but when I hear St. Charles and RR tracks I think of Bum's Hollow (yeah, they still officially call it that believe it or not) near Blanchette Park. Frankly though, there are many, many places you can access RR tracks around the STL/STC area. What specifically are you looking for? If you can be a bit more specific maybe I can as well.

Thanks for the quick response. He was pretty vague, but I know he wants to incorporate his guitar. I will do some shots of him walking away, sitting in the middle of the tracks, things similar to that. A bridge or older buildings in the background would just be a plus. I was not sure what the "law" was shooting on live tracks. So I was hoping to find some out of service tracks that were not complete grown over with weeds. Any hints to location would be great. Much appreciated.

I shot some senior pics on tracks in maplewood, corner of Sutton and and Greenwood. Lots of great shops also along sutton ave for nice backdrops also. windows, brick walls, etc. the first set of pics in this series is down in Soulard
