QUOTED IMAGE

This would've been better if the model didn't have her arm in front of her. The sense of motion is there but I feel if the arm was behind it would've been expressed better. Also it would've showed off the outfits. Watch out for little details like that. DOn't be afraid to retake.

As I first looked at this, my first impression was "the face is not focused" but then I realized that the focus IS on the shoe. I assume that was the intent, but I wonder if there is something that would make the viewer's eyes go directly, or at least more quickly to the shoe.

Sorry i don't have any suggestions - I suppose I am only asking you and the others who post here if there are techniques that could change the viewing flow a bit.

I wanted to take advantage of the natural light, but the weather was kinda crappy and I had to improvise. Any thoughts on this are much appreciated.

More about the shots on flickr.
Thank you.

@DeigoV the first 2 are great.. the second one is the best and is book worthy..

but on the last 2 i have an issue. your pictures are there its just the models.. i get a sence of that they are awkward ,not the same intensity that a real couple would be. almost like an awkward prom photo.

next time push your models past there comfort zone. tell them to get close like they really would to thier own bf or gf

I also prefer the first 2 :). Model direction is definitely one of my weakest points... your advice is much appreciated and I'll keep that in mind next time. Thank you very much :)

ya its definatly hard cause you want to keep everybody happy. but models are there for shots as well as you are. as long as everything stays professional they will do much of everything you tell them. just have a vision and go for it
