Some people are going to love the first one. All the clutter, phone lines, etc., bothers me. I really don't like the racoon eyes in the second one.

I like the light in the last one. SB? Pretty girl.

Lighting setup:
#1: AB800 + 24"x36" softbox camera right
#2: EX580II + 24"x24" softbox camera right
#3: AB800 + 24"x36" softbox camera right

All synced with Cybersyncs

I actually took out all of the phone lines in PS, but it seemed too plain and clean without them. I think it was a good way to attract the eye to the model and fill up the blank space.

Number one for me too! I usually dont like the underexposed background, but the angle and lightened sky makes it work for me. Gives it attitude! :)

Good work.

lol, at "racoon eyes".

Agree, so the OP probably went in a painted the whites of her eyes really white to make them show up because with that lighting her eyes would have been rather dark.

I think the key to #1 are the converging lines; that really works well here. Instead of clutter, the power lines are a part of image. That's truly amazing work. Seriously... that's amazing.

I dig #2 also for the pose; it's unique. Great lines again - the bench rolls off the lower left corner and her legs roll off the lower right corner, showing how artistic effect can trump a rule (no clipping at a joint). I suppose instead of raccoon eyes a different way to approach the look would be to provide better lighting and use make-up for the effect, but then you'd lose all the shadow that gives depth to the image. The image is amazing as-is. Thanks for sharing; I really learned something from these photographs.

Nice liking and clean images.
in #2 it would have been ideal if her face was fully lit but it works as is as well :)

Pretty girl.

#1 FTW! I think that most of the lines in the middle are stellar, and I HATE lines. I would likely get rid of the ones on the right of the image though (there are like 3 or 4...) Almost looks like "sunbeams" radiating from her!

I really like the set. The converging lines in #1 draws you right to her. The only change I would suggest would be to clone out the pole coming out of her head in #3.
