Not only a nice mood with the jay, but the pose, light and color are excellent... along with a beautiful complimentary BG... you sure get marvelous light on the water dish, the robin is a very pretty shot...

The robins are migrating here... I am hearing them constantly in the woods and many are flying over my ridge... they are one of the most difficult birds to approach in the forest... not your typical "lawn robins" I guess

Thank you db, seems like the yard birds are always around to shoot. I had a huge herd of Elk cows and babies in the yard drinking all my water this morning. Then along comes the bull, what a monster. He gathered them all up and off they went. One Cow was standing next to my door, and when I opened it, her face was about 2 feet from me. She just looked at me! No fear, as they are used to people.
This Robin is alway here now, getting a drink, bath, and then digging in the dirt for bugs. It's quite tame and doesn't mind me moving about. :D
