Update
Re-done No.3 as per suggestions.
I moved the sky down and across so that I could crop and still get the sun in the shot so it looked like that was causing the harsh highlight on the left of his face, and so I could also get the break in the cloud in the shot as that was the only interesting part of the sky.
Also fixed his hair style a little...

i quite like the last two, the first two didnt really stand out.

the third one can benefit from a bit cropping, the space on top of this head is IMO larger than it needs to be. besides that, pretty good.

I really like the third one. The rest looks really good too.

Great shots, I'm just glad that it warmed up enough for your brother to finally reveal his hands. Third one looks awesome.

I agree with all, 3 is fabulous.

Number three is easily my favorite from the set. The backgrounds are too distracting in the first two.

Really like the mood and lighting in #3.

1 I didn't care for the angle. 3 I liked the best, though it may need some cropping as noted above.

#3 is a great shot, he just pops right out. What sort of lighting did you use for that?

Same expression in every image. Also, in #3, the belt buckle is way off-centered, and the buttons are partially showing (would prefer to not see them), back of tie longer than the front, top of his head seems to get lost in the tree. These may seem like minor issues, but you really need to notice/be aware of these things when looking through the viewfinder and positioning the subject...

Actually that's number two. Numbered them now to avoid confusion.
Yes No. 2 is my least favourite, I did spot off centre tie in the viewfinder and took a few shots after this, but they weren't keepers, didn't spot the belt buckle however.
As for expressions, unfortunately he's a shy lad and not a model, and when he does use a different expression, he's usually pulling a goofy face to annoy me.

That explains it. Regarding the real #3, maybe think about cropping out the sun that's behind the clouds above your brother's head? This competes with the light source to the left side of the image and let's the viewer know that the side lighting is artificial. I'd also think about cropping out the partial light on the left to the point where just the rays are visible...
