I've been reading about HDR and PP quite a bit over the past few days and came across Topaz Adjust. I'm posting the original and the new one for comparison, not sure what I'm going for with the shot but let me know your thoughts. I know it's an actual HDR but it has a similar feel and I'm really enjoying this plug-in.

Wow! what an amazing tool - I think the results are way overdone for my taste, but it is amazing. Does topaz work from your RAW image?

bannedPermanent ban

I would personally go with something in between.
Topaz seem to be creating some artifacting on the ground in the car one.

The first one imo did nothing for the image. On the second i like the way the Topaz adjust tool popped the clouds. I like the way it worked on the second immage for surre.

I like applying the effects of those filters selectively. Especially if people are in the image. You can tone down or completely erase the Topaz adjustment from faces, etc. You can use it to draw the viewers eye to your subject too much like selective focusing. Have the effect adjust say an old automobile and brush away the effect from the rest of the image.
