Best in Show

I had a piece in a mixed media juried show at the Phoenix Gallery in Bellport on Long Island, NY, USA. When I got a call from them, my first thought was that they were calling to tell me that it was unsuitable and to come and pick it up. Instead, they told me it won best in show. Here's a smaller, not quite finished image of it.

It's a small gallery and there were not scores of other entries. And I don't think the piece has sold. But hey, at least I get bragging rights.
