A recent hike into the Colorado Rockies. Always encouraged by CC.

1,2 & 7 I like a lot. You lost me on #3 due to the strong overprocessing. 4,5, & 6 look a little off, also because of the processing.

I tend to agree. The first two look really good, the third image is overdone and the rest just need some contrast adjustments it seems.

Thanks guys. I've been trying some different techniques, seeing what works and what doesn't. Here's a couple redo's and a new shot. Any better or did I pull them back to far?

I think the 2nd and 3rd image is better but I'd still like to see some more contrast. I'll post an example.

The first shot, the one with the stump has me stumped. Maybe the image just doesn't do anything for me. I'm not sure what I might do to make it look better.

Here's an example of your Aspens...which I think is a great shot.

Thanks Gene. Maybe that's why I had it overcooked to start with. I feel like there's a good shot in there, but haven't found it yet.

I'm always tenative using contrast on mild processed HDR's because of the darkening it does to the shadows. I do like your image though. Thanks, I'll keep it in mind when I'm processing.
