Great turnout, thank you everyone. Competition is closed. Give me a few to select the winner. I won't be able to say a few words on all submissions at this time, but I should be able to get some time this Friday evening to say a few words on all pictures submitted.

Thank you.

Once again, thank you all for the great turnout and the lovely Autumn captures. I will try to say some words right now on all submissions:

Mo--Lovely colors, but the framing leaves me a bit cold.

ions--Beautiful colors, and I agree with a comment on your flickr page about this capture looking painted.

Allen--Beatiful colors and great DOF control.

Hank--Sweet picture, excellent DOF.

Diana--Beautiful colors and great framing.

Bill--Full on Autumn colors and a nice reflection.

John--Nice soft waterflow, great colors and you got that without an ND filter.

Karl--nice, simple composition with good framing. Nice colors.

Lee--Cute image, got the eye and nice colors. Subject a little dark on my end.

wishucould00--Beautiful colors, soft waterflow, very crisp image with nice framing. Did you use an ND filter?

Mike53545--Another cute image, good use of available light.

Mike--That's the mother lode. Gord mania! In my opinion, the proper use of HDR.

Jeev--the Red really pops here. Nice capture.

Gail--nice and simple, good color and background seperation.

Ed--Nice capture, and great DOF.

Mike T--Nice colors, but an interesting choice of framing.

Okay, here we go.

Runner-up

wishucould00

WINNER

Diana (Winter Ivy)

I dig the colors and the framing of your capture, and to me best represents (out of a lot of other very good captures) the subject of this competition. Congrats!

Diana, it is now your turn to host the next Challenge, #165, with a subject of your choice. Click the Previous Winners link at the bottom of my first post to see what subjects have been used in the past. If you need help in starting the next competition, please feel free to PM me.

This was a tough comp to judge, becuase you all stepped up with some fine examples. Thank you for participating.

Great job judging Jason and I also loved Winter Ivy's (Diana's) submission. And congrats to wishucould00 also.

Ed had one of my favs this week too. It was a good week in my opinion.

Congrats to Diana and thanks for the hosting job, Jason.

On a side note, many of you should be disquaified for not changing the title from DSLR Challenge to the title of your photograph.
