This ad came up on my Yahoo mail screen today.

Is it me, or is there clear evidence of the use of a blur tool on the side of the face supposedly with fewer wrinkles? They blew it by blurring the eye and eye brow too.

How do they get away with stuff like this?

You would hope by the time you're old enough need such products you would have enough sense to know it's crap. But I am sure they will sell enough to live far better than I do.

I noticed my whopper looked just slightly different in the photo than in real life also yesterday :)

Unfortunately, while wisdom may come with age and experience, common sense does not. This is why so many of the elderly are ripped off by flim-flam artists.

That's because your Whopper was made by someone whose primary vocabulary consists of "Do you want fries with that?" The Whopper in the photo was made by a real chef.

You know what kind of gets on my nerves? Those weight loss ads. It's so obvious it's the same picture used for before and after. The after shot is just 'squished!' lol

I got the pills and they really work, I was going to have the wife take a photo but do to the fact that I have only APS-C sensor, 28mm lens and a 12' room she just can get it in the frame. I know this sounds odd but the FF guys can explain it. :)

I love Jay Leno's "Headlines" segment, when he puts up some before-and-after ad and it's obvious they are completely different persons, sometimes even different races!

Such ads work because not all of us inherited an "intelligence" gene. In fact, some of us are just plain stupid, and the stupid ones are on both sides of the ad.

I remember a couple years ago I photographed a female friend of ours and photo-chopped her from about a size 24 to a 10 or 12 at her request, it was a nude photo so she could not really tell people later it was the outfit that did it. Anyway she posted it on a dating site as soon as she got it. I always wondered what people she met who were attracted to to photo of her though when they met her in person.
