I absolutely love that feeling you get when you shoot stuff out of the ordinary for yourself. Tonight, I went to Nashville to hang out with Jamie Burke and took my camera along as always. It was super dark, terrible lighting, stuff all in the way but I tried some lifestyle/fun photo-journalistic type stuff and didn't expect anything good. You know what? I ended up with some fun stuff that is not normal for me that I think I could build upon if I work at it. I feel as if I may have found a new outlet, shooting with friends and taking my camera everywhere to shoot. No matter what the lighting looks like, how well the shot turns out is based on the feeling and emotion that you put into it. Be on the lookout for more and different styles and concepts from me! I also have some more of the style I was talking about of us just hanging out but I know Jamie wanted most of the people shots up first so I did those asap. Might post the rest later.

All of these were at ISO 3200 with shutter speeds anywhere from 1/15-1/25 with the 135L @ f/2 and the first shot was with the nifty fifty @ 1.8

for those of you who are my friends on Flickr there is also this one. Tu madre checks Flickr every once and a while and I'm sure she would love to know about her underage son drinking in a bar (Knows I drink anyways, its just one of those unspoken things).

Good series considering the place you had to shoot them. I just like them, cool!

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)
