Howdy all...decided to posts some shots i have accumulatd over the last few months from La Jolla up to Corona del Mar. Love to know what everyone thinks. Thanks! :D

GREAT shots all! Number 2 is my least favorite due to the shadowing in the lower left part of the image. Number 3 looks to be a dark purple along the top at least on my monitor. For me it doesn't appear to be a natural color..a bit too artificial.

All in all...very nice.

I don't think it's shadowing...just darker area of the sand..i probably could have brightened it a bit...and your right..i might have overdone that 3rd one a bit ;)

Great series: hard to pick a favorite. Each shot has something exceptional to offer.

Love #5, with the exposure just long enough to catch a big splash, but not turning everything into a mist.


Gripped 7D, gripped, full-spectrum modfied T1i (500D), SX50HS, A2E film body, Tamzooka (150-600), Tamron 90mm/2.8 VC (ver 2), Tamron 18-270 VC, Canon FD 100 f/4.0 macro, Canon 24-105 f/4L,Canon EF 200 f/2.8LII, Canon 85 f/1.8, Tamron Adaptall 2 90mmf/2.5 Macro, Tokina 11-16, Canon EX-430 flash, Vivitar DF-383 flash, Astro-Tech AT6RC and Celestron NexStar 102 GT telescopes, various other semi-crappy manual lenses and stuff.

Loved them all but had if I had to pick I would say the Corona Del Mar shots were my favorite. We visited there this past summer and had a wonderful time. Love the area.

Thanks for all the great comments all :D...i need to get out and get some Lee GND filters to calm the sun down sometimes when i take these shots. That way I can start including it instead of waiting for it to be covered or down completely. Anyone have any they're not using?...yeah right...lol
