Ok, so I was trying to learn new things with CS5; B&W and Content-Aware. Not sure if I like the result, but would like your feedback as well.

Before

OK, I'll bite. It is not a bad photo by any means. Here are two questions for you:

1: did you have control over the time of day you shot this image?
2: What do you consider to be the subject of this photo?

My input is kind of dependent upon those answers...

Devin

That court yard is pretty blasted out. I know it must have been very contrasty, but still, to have a keeper shot, you would want some tones in that area.

I would also use the content-aware to hide the trash cans (?) on the far wall.

Thanks guys,
Yeah, it was a hot and sunny day. I had two hours left of my visit in CA, so I went to the University for this shot.
I just love these Romanesques arches.

Yeah, I'll try to remove the trash cans, but I don't think I could do anything with the court yard. Tone will only make it un-natural.

i was about to say that -- they are distracting / (no offense) ugly; i'd also do the little white box-ish thing next to the door and then the 2nd to last light in the row cuz it's out of place (like too scrunched up)
