I like #3, but #2 grabbed me the most. :) I like it in both color and B&W, and I like the crop.

[QUOTE=Mosephus;11011483]Gave it a shot what do you think?

This one. I really liked the cattle shot out of them the most. And was about to say it needed something done to it.

For me, I would use this

If you are allowed to submit a composite photo, here's an idea -- Take the cow shot and blend in a photo of a cattle carrier to give it some tension.

The rainbow shot: Isolate the sky, play with your black point to bring the strongest possible contrast (light-to-dark) into the frame. Crop it so that the sky is the subject -or- the foreground is the subject, but choose one.

The landscape shot - I think all shots where the horizon cuts a perfect horizontal line look like snapshots -unless- there's a strong reason to split it (like something exactly flat with a feature in the middle, i.e. symmetry is the point)

FWIW

(and that advice is surely worth what you paid for it - zero)

Having fun is the point, but if you're going to hang something you should expect to visit a very good custom framer preferably with a fine art degree and pay a lot for the framing.

BTW, I was going to do some processing and post examples, but you do not yet have 'image editing OK' turned on.

IFF you are allowed to submit composites, here is the cow on its way to a certain end:

The concept overall is to give the eye something interesting to focus on initially, then keep it moving. The more the eye moves, the more 'interesting' the photo will tend to be. Here the idea is to grab the eye to the USDA label then realize that the cow is thinking about what the cattle car means....... the flies are a bonus, emphasizing that USDA choice doesn't start the way one would like to think of it...... I like your concept there very much. Thx for letting me have some fun with it!

On the others, here are some ideas.

I think the rainbow has the most potential. I think I see overcooking in the sky on the copy I have -- by that I mean too much saturation and contrast. If you ease up a bit and increase contrast light-to-dark I think it will have more impact.

Remember, no matter who says what (especially an am. like me) all decisions are yours and everything else is just an opinion.

Have fun!

PS - On the cow shot, if I had all the time in the world, I'd hand-select the files, darken them increase their contrast to really emphasize their presence.

Nice touches, I like what you did with the clouds on the fist picture.
