Thanks

Re: Posting pics within a message ????
you need a website that can host your picture, mine is superhonda or there are some free on line album or you can upload on this site. once it is uploaded view that picture and right click it. and look at the properties like this http://www.superhonda.com/photopost.../DSC00121-1.JPG (external link)

if you put

IMAGE NOT FOUND
Content warning: NOT AN IMAGE
if will be like this

http://www.superhonda.com/photopost.../DSC00121-1.JPG (external link)

remember no space between both img and websites. i put the space because the picture will appear when submit my message to you.

you can also use the insert image icon

that will be the format then you type your message above or below that.

any picture on line if you right click it look for the properties with jpeg and do the above and you can post the pictures. you know it took me 6 months to discover that because nobody is willing to tell me.

If you just want the picture to show up in your posted message, just do this:
Use the Go Advanced button instead of Submit Quick Reply.

Then in the additional options window look for Manage Attachments. In that window you can browse for your image and upload it.

Thanks

WHOAH! I'm BLINDED! (Sun right in the eye.) ;)
I see you figured posting a photo out Kane, now all you have to to is figure out the max size for a photo posted here. It's supposed to 800 pixels on the longest side. This will bring it down to a more manageable size, and you wont have to scroll back and forth to see it all. Nice photo BTW, and welcome to the forum. :D
PS, Make a copy to resize, never resize the original in case you want to print it or something later. Use your photo software to resize.

You mean the shot of the Sun peeking over that mountain, and then across the body of water? It seems to be imbedded in your second attempt post. ;)

BTW It was taken with a G6 Shutter Speed 1/1250 F-Stop 4.5
