Trashing the Dress | New Haven Green Connecticut | Yale University area

I met Randi & Justin a year ago when I was the wedding photographer for Lisa & Jon's wedding last year. (Justin and Jon are brothers) Thanks to facebook, I have been friends with them and other's from the wedding parties since. Recently Randi contacted me praising how much she loves my work and would like to hired me for "Trashing the Dress" session. After discussing all the details and location, here's what we have came up with.

Cool pictures from your TTD session. What are they drinking in pic # 7?

I'm not too keen on her expression (which is the same in every shot)...and the guy's shorts and flats take away from the photos, sorry. Except for the #1, 7 and 8 I don' t get the Trash The Dress feel.

Do you have a shot of them soaking in the fountain?

Yeah...her expression really takes away from the set.........especially since it never changes.....and I'm not getting his attire....he's looking more like a bystander......are there more images of them "trashing the dress"?

One thing I really enjoy about wedding photos is that everyone always looks happy, but these don't really fit that. Interesting shots, though.

I guess I'm having a hard time seeing the "Trash" part of this session...decent pictures overall, she needs help with her expressions as noted above, but the lighting etc. is spot on. Everything is good, except for the trashing part....

Did you force her to do this session? lol. Just kidding, but she sure doesn't look like she's having any fun!

The one of them drinking on the steps is really great. The comp and the angle is really nice!
