Reflector Kit

I'm looking at getting a 5-in-1 reflector kit, and would like to stay under $50. Are there any options/alternatives to this?

I haven't really considered getting a stand, but this one is tempting for only $16. Anything else I would need (arm boom, perhaps)?

That reflector is pretty much the standard. I have had mine for a few years and love it. You cant really go wrong with that one and the price is nice.

That stand is decent. I went with a Manfrotto one, but havent really heard anything too bad about the Westcott ones. You wont be able to hold the reflector without a boom arm though. Westcott makes one that holds their reflector perfectly. Thats the one I went with and its been a decent arm.

I've found Westcott to be an OK brand. If you are planning on using the stand to hold the reflector you will need a reflector arm of some sort.

Old thread, but as a rule cheap junk on eBay is junk. Does the rule apply to reflectors, or is a reflector a reflector is a reflector?
