Hi,
looking at a few of my photos it seems like I might have a bit of dust on my sensor, anyone know if it's an easy clean, obviously from a photographic shop or its a major.
Also there are a few small hairs on the inside of the lens....thought it might be a bit better sealed than this..

Hi Crack,

Check out this link. It is a way to see what shows up in the image...

The simple answer I would give is this. Don't pixel-peep. However if you're images are flawed to the point you do not like them... Search this forum for 'repair' and you will get some leads to good 3rd-party Canon service that can tune up your G.

I have used camerasandparts.com for an electrical repair, and they did a tune-up and calibration check all for a fixed charge that was reasonable. Turn-around can be pretty fast.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not pixel peeping btw, it's a big bit of dust, quite visible on uniform colour backgrounds. I have cleaned the sensor on my 40D before and it's easy due to removable lens etc...but the G11 presents a bit of a problem in that dept...
