Did my first try at a small wedding last weekend.
I was just supposed to drive the wedding couple but asked if it was OK to also do some shooting, which they didn't mind.
They had arranged for one of their relatives to do the actual shooting. I have no idea if she was a trained photographer or not.
This meant that I just stepped out of the way and had the opportunity to do it more like a documentary

This is a Swedish wedding which means it is different to what you guys are used to on the other side of the pond ;)

Let me know what you think

Proper link is this: http://canderssonphoto.com/um/ (external link)

I don't look a slideshows when people want critique either, too slow.

Turned up the speed.
I'll go about the top 8 thing in the other section
As mentioned this was at most as a "second shooter" or more like "step-out-of-the-way" thing

Slideshow takes too long, lost my interest.

One thing I did notice, opening with a shot of the cemetery is kind of strange...

That was your car? Really nice...
Strange combination Photographer/driver.
You had some nice captures. The shots you did of them in the road were nice. A little flash kick would have been good but they will be happy with them.
Only a couple of issues I noticed, some of the color is off and the composition could be better but I am sure you client will like them and not bad for your first.

OK. More or less all small churches in Sweden have the cemetery right in front of the porch. Sorry I couldn't move it for the shot ;) (no other angle was better).

I'm beginning to regret posting in this section. Feels like I'm wasting your time with this highly unprofessional stuff.
I asked for it, I know, without understanding that I was asking professionals that actually do this for a living.
It would probably have been better to do as mentioned by RedTiePhotography - post the best ones and have critics on each one of those separately.

Well, you live and learn :)

Thank you zagiace :) points taken.

I watched the slideshow. I think you did a great job. There are a lot of quality shots in there. The one with the mens with the swords and the little girl observing them is my favorite

i looked at a few and just a tip, try watch your backgrounds for stuff that are ewww. folding chairs, parked cars, garbage can etc. try set up so they are blocked by the people or shoot with bigger aperture to blur them.
lotsa nice shots too!

I am far from a professional that does this for a living, there are many here that do though. My only comments were that a slideshow just takes too long to go through. Posting a few images for critique would have been easier. The other comment was about the cemetery. I realize that churches in Europe are like that but maybe there was a way to minimize it by cropping or something rather than having it front and centre in the opening image of their wedding day story. Kind of puts a damper on the whole thing for me.
