Just purchased Ti1 a little over a week ago. This is my first dslr so just looking for a little
help. Not sure if I posted these pics correctly or not .Thanks to all who comment.

A tighter crop on #1 would be good. Try and remember the rule of thirds. Also, with animals, always remember to put the focus on the eye. but your DOF is good for #1.

The second one is a tad overexposed. it can be tricky when photographing animals that are white and dark colours as a beginnner.

But overall, good job.

Hi - I can't tell for sure, but #1 looks like the butterfly is out of focus. As a suggestion, check your manual and set the camera so that it only uses the center sensor for autofocus. It looks to me that the camera focused on the stem, not the butterfly. When you use only the center spot, you can place the subject in the focus spot, press 1/2 on the shutter button, recompose and snap.

yeah, your focus is on the stem. if you use manual focus point selection, it'll help you.
