This is my first post in this section so bare with me ;) I am on business in OKC and took a trip down to the refuge last Saturday. Spent a VERY enjoyable day down there. These shots were all taken with my SX20is as the 7D I ordered never showed up in time for the trip.

Comments welcomed! Thanks for looking!

Thanks D. I tend to not oversaturate my skies as they usually make the image look like it's been PP'd. I tend to go for a more light handed approach. Nice job though.

Bobby

The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is one of those "special places" in Oklahoma, I love it down there (I am from Oklahoma City). Did you see any elk?

"Special" is truly the word Dan. I did see 2 Elk but unfortunately Binoculars were the only way to see them. I would love to be able to spend some time "Behind the fence"

I'm out here for training a few times a year and hope to get back again with the 7D and a few nice L's.

P.S. Phenomenal work in your gallery!
