I am no pro and still learning myself, but want to start making posts on this forum more often. So I will give it a shot

Nice colour. He seems a little soft/blurred, or is it just me?

Have you done any sharpening?

yes, a bit, but not too much because of the noise. This was shot at ISO 3200.

If you have lightroom 3, take it into there and use the noise reduction. Its brilliant for stuff like that

Yeah, but I like the grain. I purposely shot this at a higher ISO in order to get some grain to the image.

I like it. The noise and blue-gray tones give the photo a feel of age and weariness. I might try tightening the photograph a bit by cropping off the tree on the right and a bit of the foreground, but that's about it.
