My first time trying pan shooting... any feedback appreciated.

I think your panning worked well.


40D with 28-135 IS , Tamron 17-50 ,100-400 f4.5-5.6L, 100mm f2.8L macro IS, 430EX, 430EXll,MiniTT1/FlexTT​5 , Kata R-103,

They're all pretty good IMO. The B&W is striking, though IMO the sunstar is just a bit too big. The panning is nice.

I would crop #1 so it's just the two LMP cars. Right now my attention is divided between the two.
1, 2, 3 colors look slightly drab on my uncalibrated monitor; I would pump up saturation a bit.
#5 I'd look for a crop here.

great feedback - thanks! I made a slight crop to the last one and I think it works alittle better. I actually like the big sunstar on the B&W - I was able to lower the amount in ps but it doesn't have the same effect. I will post these and some others in the auto forum later today - thanks again.

These look pretty good for the first try at it.
First shoot with moving cars need advice.
