We had yesterday a wonderful, sunny and warm October day. My daughter has bought a bottle of soap bubble liquid, and by accident we noticed the reflections like in a poker card. Had to take some shots of them. :D

To make the reflections visible,it was important to shoot almost against the sun and have a relatively dark background.

Thanks all!

About the reflections: I was expecting to see the mirrored image to be only upside down, but as you can see the upper and lower part are the same, like in the playing cards. Just for curiosity, why it is like that? Can somebody explain?

Convex reflection.

It'd be upside down on a concave surface, like a spoon.

So the upper side of the reflection is convex (coming from the outer surface of the bubble) and lower side is concave (from inside of the bubble)????
