A few shots from my 2nd foliage trip into the Rockies. You can see theres quite a bit less leaves remaining on the trees. These were 3 shots handheld.

The destination of the hike was called the falls, though not really a water fall. Since I didn't have my tripod with me, I was precariously balancing the camera on these slippery rocks. Can't decide which of these I like the best, maybe the first or second?

I like them all with #2 being my favorite. Of the waterfall shots, it's hard to decide which I like the best.

I'm curious, to get the motion blur of the water, was your fastest exposure still slow enough to blur the water? When I shot a water fall (the one that was over the pool), I wound up with each exposure freezing the motion of the water. Then it was just a matter of choosing which exposure to use for the ghost removal in CS5.

Number three is a nifty scene.

Thanks guys.

Gene, I cranked down my aperture to get the longest exposures I could given the light which kept more of the scene in focus too. I'll look tonight at the range of shutter speeds that comprised the shot. I didn't really notice any ghosting of the water on the Photomatix shots, but I merged each one with one to several of the original exposures, so it would likely have been blended away anyway.
