Messing with the speedlite & softbox

So me and my friends were bored and decided to head to the beach a do a "photo shoot"
At the same time put my 430ex and softbox to use.

It may be an upload issue but all of the images seem a bit soft. The skin tones also seem a bit washed out. You may want to go back to your original files and check them out. I'll be all of them took a hit when you uploaded them. It looks like a fun shoot though. It's also the only way to get experience shooting on location. Keep shooting and have fun.

I desaturated the color a bit, its likely my crappy monitor I'm editing on, I will upload the untouched photos

I see why the colors appear off to me. It's your call if you want to desaturate. Remember, it's all a matter of personal preference. I suspect the softness of the focus is an upload issue. I would be interested in seeing them with less desaturation.

The one with the light graffiti is fantastic. They must have been sitting perfectly still for them to be in that sharp of focus.
