I don't think there is one better than the other, but I prefer #2 due to the colour cast present. But it still looks underexposed.

You've got at least one dust bunnie and sea spray to clone.

I cloned away the dust spots and upped the brightness, I think this looks a lot better.

What filter were you using? The colour cast looks like what I get from my crapy hitech 10 stopper.

The water isn't misty enough, suggesting not quite long enough an exposure.

Weird as in.... ? I used a cokin ND filter for this.

This is my first try with long exposure and also at this type of setting, just would like some grip on how to get this perfect.

Thank you.

I still find them too dark. I also agree they need to be for longer duration to really have a dramatic effect on the water.

I know what you are saying, I had this set at 30sec, but I think the water was maybe too stil for the effect I was after.

I am here to show the photos and for advice not for someone to say the same as the next poster, if you have knowledge of photography, share it with me.

Thank you anyways.

If multiple people don't tell you they share the same opinion how will you know it isn't just one persons critique? Also, most people start with 30 seconds as it's the longest you can go without switching to bulb. Bulb requires a remote trigger for these types of shots. Try 2 minutes and see what happens.
