High School Football Game (no football pics though)

I was there to shoot pictures of the band...so no football pics. C&C welcome.

Some nice ones, some are too dark and some would be lot better if shot from the front.

I'm going to agree here. There are some nice shots, but who really wants to see the back of someones head? The drum line shot is very nice, btw.

Thanks for the comments. I ended up with about 160 shots worth keeping and the majority are from the front. Some of these were just for me and more of a creative way of capturing the game. I know there is little chance anyone would want a print of these type of shots, but I'm fond of them.

More C&C welcome...keep up the comments both good & bad.

The brass' shot and drumline shot are really nice. Did you use any fill flash? Looks like some on the shot with the horns up and the light standard in the BG.

I like the shots and your ideas. Even the shot of the hat plumes and the crowd in the BG.

Thanks, Dave. I didn't use any fill flash. I think you are seeing the stadium lights on the horns. I don't really want to distract anyone with flash for these type shoots. I didn't know what to expect with stadium lighting, but they had the place pretty well lit.
